LetterHelp provides AI-assisted drafting tools for letters and related text content. The service is intended to support users with document preparation and workflow assistance.
LetterHelp is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation. The service does not create an attorney-client relationship.
You must be legally capable of entering into contracts under applicable law. You are responsible for the accuracy of account information and for maintaining account security.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account or session credentials.
You agree not to use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, infringing, or harmful purposes, including attempts to reverse engineer, disrupt, or bypass technical limits.
You must not upload content you do not have rights to use, or content that violates applicable law, third-party rights, or platform policies.
AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You must independently review and validate all output before relying on it.
You remain solely responsible for decisions, actions, filings, submissions, and communications based on generated output.
Paid features are billed as presented at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe. LetterHelp does not store full payment card details.
Subscription renewals, cancellations, and plan changes are handled according to the billing terms shown during checkout and in your account settings.
For consumers in the EU/EEA, mandatory pre-contract information and cancellation rights are provided at checkout where required by law. If you request immediate access to digital content/services, statutory withdrawal rights may be reduced or lost once performance has begun or is completed, as permitted by applicable law.
LetterHelp and its software, branding, and service materials are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, resell, or redistribute the service.
You retain rights to content you submit, subject to the licenses necessary for us to operate, secure, and improve the service.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service from time to time, including features, limits, and pricing, to the extent permitted by law.
We may update these Terms. Material updates become effective when posted unless a later date is stated. Continued use after effective date means acceptance of updated Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the extent legally permitted, LetterHelp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited under applicable law, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or death/personal injury caused by negligence where mandatory law provides otherwise.
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary, including for breach of these Terms, security risks, abuse, or legal requirements.
Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including payment obligations, liability limitations, and dispute-related clauses) remain in effect.
These Terms are interpreted in accordance with applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer, privacy, or other mandatory law.
If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you may also have the right to access out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms and the competent supervisory or consumer authority in your place of residence.
